I have used this list a few times, and recently updated it a little bit when I was hanging up fliers for Black Sheep fest.

I also made this sort of "how to" check list for myself when it comes to making events on facebook and making sure shows are thoroughly promoted on the internet. Maybe some of you will find it useful.
Facebook: - Create facebook event. Invite a whole group (Black Sheep if it’s a BXS show) - Have flier available to all and easily accessible on event - post bandcamps/youtube videos of bands on event wall - Invite everyone else - Post to group wall - Post to own wall - Post to bands walls - tag everyone related to the event in the flier - Post to surrounding area groups (Champaign Area Shows/Bloomington) - Post to Illinois Times - Post to “Springfield Local Music” group - Post to 217 Hardcore “the way it was” - “Springfield Shows” facebook page - Post to other upcoming events
