I know that now this forum is dam near 'about DEAD is a good time to plan for a FIRST OFFICIAL SPRINGFIELD PRO PINBALL PLAYER'S FAN'S CLUB MEETING so that way NO one will show up it is probably just going to be ME playing in the arcade all by MYSELF!!!!! bahahahahahahahaha

I want to thank all of you who came out to our first ever Springfield Pro Pinball Player's Fan's Club meeting last night! It was very much a success, with a good turnout. We had a lot of fun playing games, planning our canoe trip, eating pizza, taking a field trip, and planning tournaments.
Rob from Prairie Archives hit the high score for Asteroids earlier in the day at 18,500 which was last night's featured game. No one at the club meeting could top that score, although I hit my personal best of 15660. 
We took a trip over to Floyd's bar to gather around their Black Knight: Sword of Range pinball machine. The music stopped as soon as our club walked in and everbody at the bar was turned around in their seats watching as a group of nerds took turns working the new machine. Myself and James got the highest scores, mine was 12,896,640 which I will be uploading onto pinside right now.
Some of us went home and watched "Special When Lit", a documentary about the rise and fall of Pinball that came out in 2009. Feeling very inspired by the film, we hopped in our cars and drove back to the arcade a little after midnight and were there until 3:00am trying to master our catching multiballs and mimicking the smooth rhythmic moves of the best pinball player to have ever walked the earth, Limon Sheets. None of us had any good scores.

Sounds like a great time. I was with you in spirit, practicing my plunger pulls and working out my flipper fingers. This week I'll spend visualizing a high score. If I send pinball energy out into the universe, the universe will send pinball energy back.
