2020: Now that we are in "phase 4" and now that I am a total pin-head NUT, I gotta know what else is out there!! I am thirsty to play more pins!! I have been digging deep on the Pinside Map to find out what else is out there other than the machines we already have at Dumb Records. There was one listed at a laundromat on North Grand and I went there a couple of weeks ago to find NOTHING. So now I am determined to find out the truth behind all the listings on Pinside and find out what all of pinball that Springfield and surrounding areas has to offer.

I wonder if the bowling alley on the west side still has a game room?

+1 for Track Shack. I'd be surprised if the Creek didn't have more, because I think they have a huge room for it. Knights is another place to check. I want to say Boones has one near the door to their patio.

When I was at Knights last year they had Indiana Jones (Williams), South Park, and Monopoly. But only South Park was playable, barely.
I wonder what happened to the new Black Knight pin that was at the Dog House next to Floyds? Is it still at Floyds?

Floyd's used to have Johnny Mnemonic but last time I was in there they had Monopoly (and it didn't work well)

I had my friend Gargantuan go investigate Floyd's a couple of days ago and report back to me. No pinball at all right now.

I got a lot of leads on a lot of pins that are out there to explore, pinpals. I will be updating my original post and reporting back whenever I confirm a playable pinball machine anywhere out there in this city. It's a little bit of a challenge right now with the virus, but it will get easier.

Clique, the new gay bar in the old 411 Washington spot has Deadpool. Gonna have to swing in there next time I go downtown to buy the lcd Soundsystem record that I hope Dumb still has.

Now that I am fully vaccinated I am back on the hunt...
Last night I went to the bowling alley on the west end (I don't even know what it's called) and I found no pinball, instead just THIS:

(I laughed but did not play)
On Pinside.com there are a few locations listed out on the west end. One is "Dog House" bar which I don't even know what that is? Pinside says they have two machines. I went to the area where the "Dog House" on the pinside map is and there is definitely nothing there. Says that point on the map was last updated in 2011 so there is no big surprise here. I will have to update it. (This is by the old Book Rack... the Book Rack is still there and I checked their dumpster for books like I used to do 10 years ago, and lo and behold there are still books being thrown out in the book rack dumpster (hot forum tip for you all)). So I will have to update and remove "Dog House" on pinside.
Other place on pinside listed is the "Trading Post Saloon" also on the west end and right by the bowling alley. I did go here as well - they were supposed to have a Ripley's Believe It Or Not pinball machine! There was no pinball to be found though. Just darts, pool, and "gaming" games. So I will have to adjust the pinside map for them as well.
So a disappointing night, and there is NO pinball to be found currently on the west end, just car washes, gas stations, new apartment complexes and laundramats mostly

Downtown Pinball Champion ROB has informed me that he went to this bar last night (it does not even have a sign apparently). There are problems with all of the games, the legs are loose, but he is the new HIGH SCORER on IRON MAIDEN PINBALL. With 255,980,630

I went to this bar last night by myself. Everyone there was looking at me because they could tell I was not Chatham like them. I walked in and was lost. To get to the arcade you must walk through the door that looks like it is "Employees Only" behind the bar.
First, Iron Maiden game was not taking any money. I could not play it to challenge Robb's high score.
The first game I actually played was Mandalorian - nothing to report wrong there! I knocked it outta the park on the first game with a score of 116 million - and turns out I was GRAND CHAMPION! ha! Take THAT! It was a long game - and when I was done I was entering my initials in, the whole bar was looking at me again. Both of the owners came up and were giving me a hard time. They said "you think you can just come into our bar and play ONE game and get the high score??? WTf???" I said haha yes, and just kept playing games. I kept getting free games on Mandalorian so only put like $1 in it the whole time.
Aerosmith was good! Nothing wrong to report on that one. The high scores seemed much higher and harder to beat.
Led Zeppelin game sucked - the ball kept getting stuck in one spot by the pop bumpers every time, and it was really hard to shake out. To get it out, I had to shake the game so hard that it Tilted, and this pretty much ruined every game I tried to play. I wasted like $4 doing this.
