The first cereal I am going to try to review here is Kellogg's "Eggo Blueberry Waffle Cereal." I went grocery shopping tonight at my local County Market and I wanted to pick out a good cereal to do a review for. This was a late night cereal eating for me, and I had it with whole (red) milk. I do think that a cereal experience can be completely different by the type of milk used. sometimes vanilla soy is best, and I may re-visit this cereal with just that. A little backstory: we all remember "Waffle Crisp" cereal. I believe that was manufactured by Post Cereals. This was one of my all-time favorite cereals growing up as a boy. After looking up the backstory to Waffle Crisp, Waffle Crisp was created and first on the shelves in 1993, discontinuued at some point, made a re-apperance in lesser cheaper quality in 2013, and discontinuued again in 2018. I thought that there is no way that Kellogg's could recreate Waffle Crisp cereal, but figured if it were close I could like it. Kellogg's owns Eggo waffles, which are good, and another classic breakfast food. So I accept them coming forward with this new cereal based on the classic waffle flavor. On the shelve there was Blue Berry flavor and also "homestyle". I went with blueberry for now. Maybe I will try and review "homestyle" later on. The thing about all these new cereals they keep coming out with, and kellogg's is doing a LOT... they all seem to be thrown together so quickly and they are all the same poofed out crunchy type stuff. Maybe they get the flavors right, but typically, most of the cereal is just air, the boxes are all so small, and are very light. I could easily eat the whole box in one sitting. That proved to be true for this blueberry waffle cereal. while it did remind me a bit of the Waffle Crisp I love, it was a cheaper and poofier version of Waffle crisp. The flavor was pretty spot-on, I will say that. And I have recently had blueberry Eggo waffles, so I know from experience that they got the flavor right. but the quality wasn't up there with Waffle Crisp - the original Waffle Crisp was a more dense cereal, the syrupy flavor was more perfected and you could see the syrup or cinnamon dust right there on the cereal from what I remember. Oh and another cereal I should compare this to... Honeycomb. Who made Honeycomb, and is it still around? Post in fact also manufacured Honeycomb, and on furhter research was discontinued in 2008. Has it really been that long since Honeycomb??? I remember Honeycomb coming in really big boxes. It wasn't my favorite growing up, but more budget-friendly than Waffle Crisp and I was allowed to get it more often because it had less grams of sugars. I would say that Kellogg's Eggo waffle cereal is comparable to a mix between honeycomb and Waffle crisp, with that added blueberry flavoring. Overall score is going to be a 5.8 out of 10 for me. Thank you guys for checking out my first cereal review if you like it I will try to do more! hope everyone is having a great night!!

Wait but what about the milllk did it taste like blueberries? Ive tried blueberry cheerios and that milk is petty good. That's wild they discontinued honey comb in 2008.
I would like to recommend something for the review.

Hey guys I am ready for my second review. It seems like the first one was pretty well received so I think I am going to keep this going. Thank you for your positive feedback. And Bugface to answer your question about the milk, no, it did not turn the milk blue or have a strong blueberry taste like similar things might have happen to other cereals (such as the rich cinnamony milk of cinamon toast cruch). I believe that this is because it is a much cheaper ceareal, they probably have cardboard mixed into the batter to prevent this from happening. Today I tried a new cereal... (warning: this may be horrifying to some.. proceed with caution)... Hmm, what has POST Cereal been up to since they discontinued Waffle Crisp a few years ago? Looks like THIS is the answer! Everything about this seems horrifying. But it does get 1 job done, and that is grab your attention as you are walking down the cereal Isle at your local supermarket. Heck, it worked for me, I don't even WANT to eat this, but how could I not buy it and try it and review it for my cereal review? It's like this cereal was made to be reviewed and to turn heads. On top of that it screams "KIDS" all over it. I can see all of the kids begging their parents for this in the cereal isle, pulling on their moms arms and rolling around on the floor drooling. This is what cereal has come to now in the year 2020. They can make anything a cereal. Nothing is out of bounds now. Candy, pop tarts, twinkies, donuts, waffles, you name it. I poured this out into my bowl and it looks like the pieces are even smaller than I pictured... like tiny fruit loop sticks. I am using whole milk again, I have some whole milk left over from my last review. before I eat I think "they wouldn't actually make this stuff taste sour, would they??? wouldn't that ruin the milk, and everything"?? Then I take my first bite and to my horror, yes, it is very sour. YIKE. I have not even eaten this candy very often, but I know that the sourness of it matches up with the cereal. Why would they do this??? I cry a tear... not sure if I can finish the whole thing. Once you get past the sour flavor, this cereal just taste like fruitloops. It's like someone just put some sour frosting coated on to fruitloops, and ruined them. Yes, it is a bad mixture with milk. I don't know how you are supposed to eat this. I don't know why kids would like this. I can't believe it but I finished the whole bowl for the sake of the review. The sourness experience did not get any better. The milk left at the end had a sour taste to it. Overall I would say that this cereal actually ruined my day. The taste was left in my mouth and I can't stop thinking about it. I give it a 0.7 out of 10.

here I am, back so soon with another review. I just HAD to get out to the store after my horrible sour patch kid experience to restore my faith in cereals. I need a breath of fresh air, I need to stay away from the kids section of cereals for a bit and find something more for adults like me. something with a taste and flavor that I know. something not as fruity. something that makes me poop better. something more filling. I was browsing the aisle and my next review was an easy choice and I knew I would like this: Yes, Cheerios Oat CruncH... Cinnamon. The full name. You know looking at this cereal what you are getting into, and I like that. And it's Cheerios too... one of the oldest cereals known to man. Duh! Crunch?! Oat!? Cinnamon!? All the familiar flavors, this is what I need right now. I pick the box off the shelve and it is a good sturdy size and weight. Not like any of those poofed-out cereals I tried before this. This is what I needed. 9 Vitamins and Minerals. I also decided to mix things up for this review and get some Vanilla Almond Milk . Instead of that whole a%*$ milk I was pouring on the two reviews previous to this one. I think vanilla almond milk is gonna match the vibe of this cereal, I think this is a good decision on my part. Well, I was right. This cereal was just what I needed and the vanilla almond milk was a good choice to go along with. You can probably imagine the cinnamon oats cheerio taste in all of your mouths right now. The taste was good, it was a good hearty cereal, it was a good breakfast. probably nutritious and good for my heart and poop. A good start to my day, tbh. I only felt the need to have one cup of coffee with this too. Maybe the only minor crititque I have is that it reminded me of being a boy mixing every cereal we had in the house together. Like that normal cheerios with cinnamon toast crunch with apple jacks, with my dad's granola. maybe with grape nuts . kind of like how when you were young and experiencing the soda fountain for the first time at showbiz pizza you had to put a little bit of each flavor of soda into the cup, right? LIke that with cereals. And both of those times you didn't necessarily end up with the best tasting beverage or cereal. It was just kind of sugar-tasting, and with the cereal, you had a little bit too much textures going on, some you had to chew hard for and some you had to chew soft for all in one. This cereal kind of reminded me of that a little bit, but that's okay. Honestly, I might be back for more if this sticks around in the cereal market. I hope it does. And as far as Cheerios go, I think this might be up there as one of the best variations of Cheerio flavors I have ever had. I give this a 8.4 out of 10 stars. Thanks again everyone for checking out my reviews please send me positive feedback if this is something you feel I should continue doing, feel free to send suggestions on the next cereal or your comments! did you try this cereal? what did you think? be sure to like and subscribe, thanks!

Okay FINE, I wanted Brian to get tattooed before I posted this review of the Boo-Berry guy on the box, but I guess that is not going to happen?
Here is my review of Boo Berry Boo Cereal:
It is August. The Boo Berry Halloween-themed cereal from General Mills took me a little bit by surprise this year, I did not realize Halloween was coming up so soon and I do not feel very Halloweeny myself. I thought it was a joke at first someone had snuck into the cereal isle from last year at first but this is not the case.
I had no idea before just now that Boo Berry is one of THREE monster cereals from General Mills? With the other two being Frankenberry and then Count Chocula? Count Chocula was always a cereal I had growing up that I was not allowed to have... did he get demoted into just being a seasonal cereal? That is too bad.
I did not plan on trying these all for you and letting you know which is the best, but we will see if I can do that before Halloween. I do not know if I can promise this.
This is another cereal with marshmallows in it, which I usually try to stay away from because it give me gas but I do love it so much. These marshmallows are cheaper kind than Lucky Charms: King of the Marshmallow Cereals. Even though we all love Boo and his Berries, these marshmallows can not come close to touching Lucky. I think all of these marshmallows are small white and shaped like ghosts.
I ate this cereal with almond milk again. It was a good choice. One thing I realize this time while eating this cereal is that the blue crunchies are just the blue berries from Captain Crunche's berry cereal. This makes perfect sense. This can only mean that the Frankenberry cereal is just the same except with the red crunchies in the cereal from Cap'n Crunch. I already know what I am going to be getting in to.
This cereal is very fun, there isn't much not to like. It is a cheap cereal though, and I could eat the entire box at once easily. It is only meant to be a fun, seasonal thing. Yes, the milk was very blue at the end. And the blue milk tasted good and I ate it all up. This was a very good special effect that they added to this cereal- I feel like the cereal designers knew what they were doing exactly here. I have to give them great credit for that, bravo.
I am giving Boo Berry Cereal a 7.0 out of 10 stars today.
