My Elmo happy meal toy fell over the side of my parents boat as we skimmed across the lake, the toy didn't float. |

Jeff was getting his son Charles a happy meal, so I made him buy me a happy meal to0 (I threw a tantrum until he did this)... I needed to do this to report back to this forum what the current happy meal situation is.
Current Happy Meal situation: I was given a toy which looks like Disney character "Pludo" (the dog) in a boat of some kind on top of a hippomoptomus. it comes off of it. If you have more than one toy they can connect and make a train. and they move, but they don't wind up or anything cool.
I told Charles that this is no inspector gadget. Charles said "why do you get a happy meal, you're not a kid?"...

Ever since I visited Mr America's house, I just can't stop thinking about vintage toy collecting. My favorite toy of the 80s was M.A.S.K. and I'm kind of interested in collecting them now. When I had some time over the weekend I visited Killen's and they didn't have any of that. I figure this is going to be a long term goal which will take years to collect them all at decent non-ebay prices. I think it would be cool to set them all up in a battle that could be displayed in the arcade somehow.
I also checked out the Sangamon Antique mall since I was there anyway and didn't find anything, not surprising. However I did see the fraggle happy meal toys and a box of Mac Tonight toys. I think next time I'm there I may pick them all up. Maybe it would be fun to make a diorama to display sometime with some of my favorite happy meal toy lines.
Over the weekend I started going down the rabbit hole of learning about some of the 80s happy meal toys.

Happy GRIMACE'S BIRTHDAY, forum! :')
(Not even gonna try to get the purple meal because I just know all of our mcdonalds are either not participating or have broken shake machines)
I WILL be playing Raven as soon as the store is closed nonstop until I break my current high score of 1.2 million tonight.
