Okay maybe my last pinball in town that I have found that I will be adding a thread for in the forum for a minute. I will be venturing more to the west end to explore whenever some restrictions on bars loosen and the big bad virus decides to calm down.
But in my travels I have found... The Munsters at Kingpin Lanes off of Sangamon and N Dirksen! Fun! Right next to Top Cats Chill N' Grill where Guardians of the Galaxy is, so make a whole trip out of it once things are back to normal in 2023.
This pinball was one of the newest ones manufactured by Stern. We are talkin' 2019, we are talking a fat price of $7,999.99 for one of these bad boys new. It's got magnetic features, it's got fancy ramps, it's got a little hole that you shoot down. It's got a TV screen. Herman Munster is a big toy. I love it! One down side though is it cost a whole dollar to play.
My high score... 13,070,090. (84th place in the world)
This is ranked in the pinside top 100, #68 pinball right now!

So I got out to Trails End in New Berlin for the first time the other day. I'd always meant to stop in there and check it out and was with friends and convinced them to go before calling it a night. We came in and everyone called us kids, which comparatively I guess we were.
It wasn't until I walked out onto the back patio is where I saw it. In the back garage a pin so pristine, so radical. The Munsters. A guy who taught my girlfriend how to hook the ring on the hook from behind the hook in the ring hook string game played the pin while smoking a cigarette, something I thought looked cool but I lacked coordination to do. He was playing pool with a friend when I put my dollar in. He said "I got 1 million, beat that!" Knowing how I'm not good at Pinball, I didn't think I had much of a chance.
The first ball dropped quick. Missed a ramp and she drained right down the middle. Thank heavens I have an extra play right? But on the second ball I entered a state of zen I've never experienced fingerling the flippers. I got a cool video of the Munsters and got excited and clicked the Big Green Button, which canceled my jackpot? What?
But somehow I got multiple jackpots! One for 1m and another right before I died for 380k. I also got a multiball, and I didn't drop all the balls immediately like I always do playing the Medieval Madness. The third ball wasn't much, but woah buddy I had a good run!
I wondered if I was the first member of the Springfield Mitch club to play the pin at Trails. Deep down I knew that someone here probably beat my hi score. But that's just more motivating for the pinballin as all the cool cats say.
My hi score, with only one attempt, is 12,107,790
