Damn, I'm kinda disappointed I forgot to mention The Chameleons, that's really cool you got to see them. I randomly heard them being played at a record store in Seattle a long time ago and I've always really liked that 'strange times' album, its pretty awesome.
Here's a good one that came to mind.

In 2010 at a cold cave show in Denver, they were setting up their shit and this band was playing overhead so I asked wes what it was, he said he didn't know but pointed to this other random guy in a trench coat carrying a synth, "ask him, he will know" the guy told me it was asylum party, and to look them up. It was this song. This song is killerrrrr I kinda really love music while setup's going on; my first time hearing The Damned was at an MCR show circa 2008/2010

ChillisFan Dillinger Escape Plan 1997-2017 to not just call this band complete shit. I will say for what it is metalcore or somthing its a nice bop. reminds me of Death From Above 1979 but without the Death From Above 1979. oh no its kinda catchy now ---- i like when he goes eeeEEEeeeEEEeeEEEEEEEEEE

I too like the eeeEEEEEeeeeEEEEEeee
These two different albums by different bands essentially have the same cover but from different angles.
Void Vision - Everything is Fine
I saw All Your Sisters open for Soft Kill in a bar that was in the basement of a building almost immediately after moving to Denver. In retrospect I have not even the slightest clue where this venue was. All Your Sisters - A Perfect Body

At the same time i also find it extremely funny when people play stuff overhead that is like the exact same shit the band you are there to see plays, like we get it, you love hardcore and you are in a hardcore band, all the bands playing tonight are hardcore bands, etc. A friend pointed it out to me a long time ago how much it annoyed them when another friend running sound would do that. I guess I don't care as much, it happens all the time. Its just kinda like, there is other music out there, you know? I kinda preferred when people would just play whatever top 40 shit was popular at the time and everyone would just make fun of it, or dance to it.

The Smashing Pumpkins are truly going back to their roots in a way no one asked for. This is what they sounded like pre Gish (their first album). It's a catchy enough tune if kind of plain.

I randomly thought about this band, or person. Anne was easily the best band to come about during the shoegaze revival or whatever you wanna call it that happened in the 2010 era. Their first and most popular album was really good imo but then they basically disappeared. The main person in the band kept making music under the name, but I think the songs were pretty much ignored because it didn't sound like mbv. Maybe other people liked this stuff, idk, i really liked it and it kinda fits in here i think.
