We have a thread about what you are listening to but I think people would also be interested in what we are making.
I decided last night that I wasn't allowed to start anything new before I finished some of my unfinished stuff. I have an entire 18 track instrumental hip hop album that just needs mixed that I have seriously not done anything with for like 2 years because making new things is very fun and finishing old stuff is tedious. So last night I started actually making some progress on this. 3 songs are officially completed and I actually had fun revisiting these songs, so now I'm feeling motivated again to actually finish this thing.
Working on lyrics for another song too, but man, writing lyrics is so so hard.

I don't know if hip hop is any different, but I know for me that when I get stuck lyrically, I'll just throw some filler in there, anything so long as it matches the flow of what I'm going for, just to keep the process moving along. I'll typically come up with something better after a couple of praccys, or I'll figure out that my filler kinda works with everything. |

Today i woke up and was determined to make the last "song" for me to have enough content to finally do some form of my first project. I finished it grabbed my other scraps and put it on bandcamp. A LOT of general anxiety but im also proud and i've learned a lot from different people its just wild. Its titled basement more artistic then it is sing-song.
