MItch... we are in the second week of you doing this pick now. I don't know what happened last week...
Kevin is back on the forum and also waiting with us...
Please pick for the week of November 22nd - 28th
we will be watching these things while we are waiting:
Did you know this is the FIRST year since like 1950 that CHARLIE BROWNS THANKSGIVING isn't airing on the TELEVISION. It's streaming now on some app no one has. I am PERTURBED that I will not see my HOLIDAY SPECIAL this year.

I have arrived. Your first ever official Mitch Baker's Underground Weekly Movie Pick is the Kirsten Johnson documentary "Dick Johnson is Dead" It follows a documentarian and her ailing father as they navigate his mortality in a very interesting way. It's pretty fun and light throughout, but I definitely did cry towards the end of the movie, so fair warning. Check out out on Netflix and let me know what your thoughts are! www.netflix.com/title/80234465?s=a&trkid=13747225&t=cp

Mitch Barker, I want to let you know I did watch this pick last night. I do love old people and I love documentaries but I dunno I feel that this one was trying too hard to make me cry and it just wasn't cutting it for me. Sorry Mitch Baker movie pick. 3.4 out of 10 stars for me
EDIT: Mitch, I am sorry I said that about your movie. It's not an easy type of documentary to review. I don't want to say anything bad about your movie. Maybe we can all watch the Disney re-make of Aladdin next?

For our next movie, strap in, its Martin Scorcese's The Irishman! Stream it on Netflix, and remember to take bathroom breaks, because it's 3.5 hours long. Questions to consider while watching: - Did the de-aging tech work for you? - How do you think you'll be when you're elderly? Will you still be punk? - What is the point of any of this if we're all just going to die anyway? Discuss below

I've been needing to watch this forever. I remember wishing it had been an option to see this in the theatre. That's pretty funny to think about. Another friend just mentioned this to me, so i think with you being the president and shit, I am definitely gonna need to watch this soon. THANK YOU MITCH

I watched this one last year soon after it came out and I loved it! It was the longest movie ever, but I was okay with it! (probably a movie that you should watch in 2 different nights). The de-aging thing was real weird! It made me real confused on having no idea Robbert DeNiro and whatshisface from Home Alone how old they REALLY are in real life. (I know they are both old, but are they old old or normal old or young old?)
To answer your question, I feel like an old man already! ready to be an old man for many more years to come!

Zack, if you go in expecting perfection, you'll probably be let down. Think of it like a nice coffee that you sip on all day. Take a break for a while if you need to, but remember to savor it. If you need to break it up a bit, I recommend taking a break just as you see Al Pacino getting upset that Tony Pro is late for a meeting at a private club (just shy of 2 hours in).
