Gravy's Muppet Pick Of The Week.

Hi guys seems like everyone is having a fun time picking things, so I want to pick something of the week too, and I know we all love the muppets. There have been 11 muppet movies go to theaters, (13 including the direct to video ones), and many different televisions series through the years.

There is a new one on Disney + now called "The Muppets NOW" and a sweet little angel snuck into my messages on this forum and set me up a Disney + account in exchange for my Shudder password.



I would like to pick either muppet movie or show, or tidbit once a week to watch. \

Last night I watched EPISODE 2 from MUPPETS; NOW



That is "Pepe" he is a shrimp muppet with an italian accent. and in this episode he hosted a new game show. it was one of my favorite bits. Also loved: the new segmet with the Sweedish Chef, and the other guy.

Biggest dissappointment of the first two episodes from this Muppet NOW series: the laughing old guys ("Statler" and "Woldorf") have not at all made an appearance. Neither has one of my favorite muppets, "Sweetums". I do not like Muppet NOW so far due to the lack of those key muppets. Also no... ANIMAL? Why does the muppets NOW have to be like this?

Tonight we are all watching the 1987 Muppet Family Christmas Special.

My muppet pick of this week is that I watched last night is the third episode of "Muppets NOW" on Disney plus.

This was probably not my favorite muppet episode, but I DO have to report: that: Statler and Woldorff are BACK, and they are in on this "zoom" version of the muppets as the "test-viewers" of the episode or whatever. They have all sorts of great commentary and laugh! They fall asleep after some segments and review the different segments!

Statler: Well, that certainly met my expectations
Worldorff: oh yeah?
Statler: Yeah, my expectation was that it was going to be lousy!
Statler and Worldorf: Bahahahahaha!

Then the segment with Miss piggy is usually my least favorite one, but this time they were having some technical malfunctions and the lights were turning off and back on as she was having dinner with a guest human celebrity (I don't know who)... one time the lights turned off and back on and Miss Piggy was covered in Spaghetti !!! Bahaha! That was a good part.
