Oh hello, I didn't see you there. Turns out that there's these things called "movies" and they (read:Mitch) are saying it could be the next big thing. Well we know that NOONE can kill the radio star, which is why music and movies make for a match in media heaven. First pick is new: a documentary about Anti Flag. Don't show this one to JB, I don't think he would like how many bad words they use to describe the government. www.amazon.com/Beyond-Barricades-Anti-Flag-Tom-Morello/dp/B08LW489HS?ref_=d6k_applink_bb_dls

Great one, Some Jabaroni! I ='m a big fan of a good music doc and willl be following this thread. But boy, I don't like / don't care about Anti-Flag. Will watching this make me atually like Anti-Flag somehow, or will I just hate it the whole way through because I don't like Anti-Flag? Does anyone else in this forum like or do not like this band?

Let's move things a bit more mainstream for this pik. I went out and rented two big ones from a couple of years ago, Bohemian Rhapsody and Yesterday. I didn't really like Yesterday, it was very rom-com-y and too mainstream for my tastes. Bohemian Rhapsody was a bit better. Rami Malek carries the whole movie well, and I liked seeing Mike Myers do something a little different. For those of you like me who like things that don't get release at the movie plex, watch this video of hospital job with me on repeat until I give another pik youtu.be/4fppKFWAw18

Hey somejabroni .... how about we watch the new SPARKS documentary
This has been WAY harder for me to find than I thought! If only there were a super secret underground movie bunker where it might be. I'll keep looking!
Another one that had been HARD to find on DVD is the new music movie megapik. The GOOD NEWS is that its on YOUTUBE. It's The Lawrence Arms 10 year show @ the Metro. Check it out.

I watched Jerry Macquore for the first time on Saturday. Well, I watched the first hour and ten minutes. What a boring movie. That's my NOT PIK of the week, don't watch Jerry Migwire, don't show me the money, if you run into Tom cruise tell him that I didn't like his movie.
Can't wait to watch Clue. Way better movie than Johnny Magoo

Kevin, so good to see you here on the forum again. I hope you are having a fun time stage managing at college
Last night I watched THE DECLINE OF WESTERN CIVILIZATION PART II: HEAVY METAL on CathodeTV.com at 2:00am
This has been one I have been meaning to watch. I actually never seent the first one in full either. But I know I didn't have to see that one to see this one, they are about two completely different things almost.
I thought that this movie would rekindle my love for 80's heavy metal music. Sure, I liked watching most of it. I laughed at a lot of those bands. But I think unfortunately I came out of this movie liking metal music less. This is not the documenary's fault, but the bands interviewed fault. This movie was almost entirely of younger hair metal bands (like Poison, Megadeth, Oden, etc) and hair metal rockers all trying to look as cool on camera as they possibly could. Now they all look like idiots! The biggest idiot of them all in this movie was probably PAUL STANLEY of KISS. I'm not even going to say anything more.
But I will say that the older rockers Lemmy from Motorhead and Ozzy stood out as being the good guys in this movie. They were just being real, they didn't care about looking cool. Then you have this guy CHRIS HOLMES of the band W.A.S.P. getting really drunk in a pool at night with his mom sitting right there. That was a favorite part for a lot of us. I like that guy more now. But the rest of them, like KISS, it made me like way less.
P.S. some jabaroni I think I am ready to watch more movies and documentaries about bands now. I don't think I'm ready for Antiflag still, but there are plenty of more I need to watch.

The first one will make you feel the same way about punk as this one does heavy metal but its still fun. Ozzy is def my favorite part of this one, just making the sloppiest breakfast...love it.

Seth, this is amazing, thank you for sharing. I can't beleive no one has shared this with me before. If this is what The Grateful Dead Movie is all about then I don't know why I haven't been watching it this whole entire time. This is what I've needed to finally start liking the Grateful Dead
EDIT: looks like "the grateful dead movie" isn't mostly this, it's mostly just a concert footage and I will probably hate it still. But I love this.
