@coryv, try to find me a link to this original newspaper article from 1982 online! Are we sure this was published in 1982? We're out of luck if it is. For some reason, NewsBank is only banking editions from 1985 and on. |

Excellent work Cory! This is some fascinating stuff. A few things I have learned:
- I guess I didn't really realize that "Recycled Records" started just as a used record store and must have been the first of its kind in Springfield. I wonder what year they moved things to the downstairs?
- and on the bottom half of the paper, T.I.L. that 1982 really loved its meat
Cory, we should try to put together a database of all record stores that have existed in Springfield throughout the years and what years they opened/closed. (that would be quite the task)

I wonder what year they moved things to the downstairs? I don't know when they moved the family furniture store into the basement, but the upstairs opened in July 1990. |
