Oooo I'm excited for this one. Last time I saw Flatfoot it was by accident. I was driving to Bloomington to see Reel Big Fish at the Castle, and it started snowing just north of Springfield. By the time I got to the first Lincoln exit (by the prisons) I decided to turn around. I almost died hitting the back of a semi right before, and there were about two dozen cars already in the ditch. I made it back just in time to catch the other central il punk show at Bar No One with them, I wanna say hopspital job opened, which if true is the last time I saw them play springfield. I saw Kyle from Flatfoot eating a slice at gallinas before the show and was too shy to interrupt him and say hi, but he did say during the set that he felt really bloated from the pizza. I'm glad I just had a beer.
This is gonna be fun. Attic Salt played the best set I've ever seen from them at Fest. Add in the supergroup night night boy and we've got a stew brewing. I'm also excited because this show is on my birthday, but nervous because Im not sure I'll be back from champaign in time.
