Can't believe I missed out on pinbot! Jk, but I really enjoyed playing it. It was the first pinball I ever really sat down and learned how the game works. I don't think I'll ever be able to pass one in public without playing it now.

well it's been a very productive week, selling 2 pins, moving in 2 pins. Good job to everyone all around.
If all goes as planned, maybe next month we'll be moving in the next sit-down racing game.

I kept busy over the weekend working on the next racing game and I got another pinball ready to go. This pinball is an EM that will eventually replace MIBS, at some point this week maybe I might post a video about it. I think it will be a better pin overall but is still from 1969.
I'm very close to finishing the next racing game, maybe we'll bring it to the arcade next week?
Dredd is still waiting for me to slap the new boards into it, just didn't quite have time for that yet.

FINALLY the next sit down racing game for the arcade is ready! Maybe we'll bring it to the arcade this week. It's heavier and awkward-er than a normal arcade cabinet so we'll see if we're up to the task. This will be the last arcade cabinet that I pull out of my basement as that's getting to be a bit much, just pinballs from now until I get an actual ground level workshop.
I also have Surf Planet up for sale as that will be the game to leave to make room for the next racing title. It's for the low price of $350, which $400 is typically the going price for a solid empty cabinet... so far no bites. I'll give any forum members a special deal!
I still haven't touched Dredd, that will be next in my pinball workshop to get ready, and after that I have a larger project to get this last pinball in the workshop fully working. Of course there is no big hurry to get all these ready as I still have that other finished pinball in the queue to go to the arcade after the new racing game.

new racing game is in the arcade, yay!
Brian was playing VR for a while and hootin and hollerin the whole time, and then played the new game and thought it sucked. Thanks VR.
Brian kept saying it was just like Surf Planet. But really Brian, every racing game is like surf planet, mario kart is like surf planet only with items. that's just what a racing game is.
But we now have one of the best arcade racing games ever and I plan to keep it until it completely breaks as it was a lot of work moving it in and out of my basement. I also have some extra parts to hopefully keep it running for a long time.
I think it's safe to say I'll probably be bringing a new game into the arcade each month instead of every 2 or 3 months. Next month I have our next EM pinball machine ready to go to replace MIBs. I should probably get all the lights working on mibs next time I have time to work in the arcade. I've noticed more lights have gone out which makes it hard to know what shots you've hit to collect marbles. Brian got a chance to play the next machine last night. I think we can say it will be a better game than Mibs, by just a tiny bit.
I guess I should also mention I still have a bid in the current Arcadia auction going on right now on marketplace so I guess there could be a chance for a bonus arcade arriving this month, although I doubt it as I'm not going to try to up my bid if I lose at this point.

Boy I'm hitting a bad run on arcade repairs. Right now we have 3 games down in the arcade, Volcano, SF2 and now Godzilla. I happened to notice the screen was blank on sf2 last night and it appears the monitor has stopped working. I'll be stopping by BLH this week to grab another cheap lcd monitor. Volcano has been down since last week and hopefully the parts will be in by Friday for me to repair that. I was noticing Godzilla flippers were sticking sometimes so I was starting a routine flipper rebuild and I kept stripping and breaking the main screw involved with that process to the point where the upper flipper doesn't work and I have to order new parts. It was a very frustrating night in the arcade.
On top of all of that, last weekend I plopped the new boards in Dredd and it didn't work at all. I didn't have time to troubleshoot and won't for a while as I'm starting a bathroom remodel this weekend.

I don't have everything, but I've accumulated an absurd amount of tools during the past few years. Also, I can't help everyday, but if you sometimes need a hand with the bathroom, let me know.
