Asian Man Records Degrassi podcast

I started listening to the "I'm in Love With a Girl Named Spike" podcast recently. It's hosted by Mike Park (Skankin Pickle), Hannah Eagle (Bat Boy), and Rick Johnson (Mustard Plug). Just like everyone else, when I think of Asian Man Records, I think of Springfield Illinois.

The podcast is fun. They are covering Degrassi episode by episode starting with the 80s show. Lots of sidetracking to talk about tours, music, shows from the 80s/90s.

The podcast started in 2019 and it's ominous to hear them discuss things they are planning to do the next year. Along with the buildup every episode to them going to Degrassi Palooza at the very end of 2019.

Mike Park is ridiculous and still talks about knowing who's house they can stay at, rides they can get, or how he knows someone's truck they can borrow to drive to Toronto for the palooza instead of fly there

You know what wow, come to think of it... that was such a long time ago, but I do believe there was a time when I was facebook friends (still am, he's just the type of ska celebrity that will approve any friends request that he gets), and then I sent him a request on WORDS WITH FRIENDS, and we each might have taken a couple of turns. Maybe he is still waiting on me to lay some tiles

You had told me that on his second turn he played Skafunkrastapunk and you knew you would never be able to recover points wise from that move.
