...To find the northernmost pinball machine in the continental U.S.A.

Lookup the "ANGLE INLET"
I am going to be leaving the store for a whole 10 or 11 days and we are not going to be closed at all during that time, and records are still going out onto the shelves, wow we have truly come a long way.
Also going to be seeing THE URANIUM CLUB BAND in Duluth and also getting eaten by a bear

Reporting in from the north (this is the morning of day #2 of my trip)
I am in Madison Wisconsin. I stopped at an arcade in Janesville and was an idiot and didn't look up their hours to see that they were closed on thursdays first. Then I got to Madison and made it to "I/O Bar Arcade" I don't even know how you say the I/O part outloud, I guess it's supposed to be like an on and off switch.
I realize that at this point in my pinball career, I have played all of the games. I don't think there is a single game that Stern pinball has made in this millennium I have not played yet, from Harley Davidson to the present modern RUSH. Stern needs to announce a new game. What do pinball podcasts even talk about now ? I've played the new Halloween from Spooky, and I've played the new Toy Story from JJP.
The only game I hadn't played was whatever 60s/70's pin they had at that bar called JUNGLE WOMAN or something. I played that once.
I got the number one high score of the day on TOY STORY 4 PINBALL (984,510). gonna update my pinside when I get back.
Also got to play"Legends of Vandahlia" a little bit more, it kinda sucks.
Noticing that all of these barcades with pinball all have the same lineups - they all have Godzilla, a lot of them Toy Story, Halloween, the Monsterbash or Medeival Madness remakes, Deadpool, etc...

Interesting. It is Springfield itself that makes his post orange. He left that city for the first time in 11 years, we'll see if they revert on in a couple weeks.

Hello reporting in for day #4 of my big pinball adventure! Today is the day that if I am going to play the northernmost pinball, today has to be the day.
I am at a coffee shop in duluth minnesota right now. went to a gig last night and saw the urannium club band play, and then after the gig went with a small group of people to 30 minutes outside of the city to catch THE NORTHERN LIGHTS! wow! went to bed at 3am and woke up at 7am now i'm in a coffee shop about to drive up the short and see some waterfalls.
gonna try to canoe around boundary waters in ELY, where pinside has 2 pinballs listed. one is at the grand lodge and has BAD GIRLS pinball. There is an even further north pinball at some trail resort by ECHO LAKE. that is the northernmost pinball on the pinside map (for continental us). that one is RIVERBOAT GAMBLER (1990) pinball.
Wish me luck, pinsters!

Noticing that all of these barcades with pinball all have the same lineups - they all have Godzilla, a lot of them Toy Story, Halloween, the Monsterbash or Medeival Madness remakes, Deadpool, etc... Now you understand why I was so hot to get the rarest, weirdest games. (although I've learned my lesson that only you and I would really appreciate them (and only for a few plays) and I should save my money)

Forum, I am sorry, I have failed my mission. I definitely did not play the Northernmost pinball machine. I am typing this out in a hotel the morning before the last day of my trip, I have an 11 hour drive ahead of me and my "maintenance required" light has been on in my car the last day and I guess I really f*cked it up by not getting an oil change soon enough so I'm not even sure if I'm going to make it.
The good news is that I played a pinball yesterday in Rapid City South Dakota (maybe this counts as the furthest pinball I have played away from where I live? (maybe that's not even tru). I got 241,780,870 on Revenge From Mars. I usually stay away from this game because I don't like the 2001 video screen glare fancy effect (still have never played Star Wars Episode 1), but yesterday I was feelin' it and laid down this great score.
Beating Jeff's 132nd place high score of 174,499,450 on Pinside.com

Okay I found a pretty good arcade called UP DOWN in DES MOINES, IOWA on Sunday as a little stop in the middle of my 11 hour drive home. I got 10 dollars worth of tokens and then immediately realized I would never come close to using them all, each game cost 1 token to play. (It was a barcade so I guess they make their money on drinks).
Wow I got to play these games for the first time: POPEYE SAVES THE EARTH BACK TO THE FUTURE HOOK (yeah that's right, I never played HOOK when it was over at The Whiskey Lounge)
I also played the original TEENAGE NINJA MUTANT TURDLES Data East Game (not for the first time, but the one I played was in better shape than the one that was at CP Pinball once. I don't even remember the pizza spinner or trap door when I played it over there).
