HERE WE GOOOOOOO, NEW PINBALL IN THE ARCADE
JUDGE DREDD (Bally, 1993) Ranked #77 on pinside top 100 pinballs of all time
Okay, let's hear it from Todd first!
Thanks Todd!
First thing I want to say about this game is to be careful starting it, the buttons take some getting used to!
There are two different "Start" buttons on the left front of the machine, one to start a normal game, and the other to start a "super game" (apparently there are two different modes, this is still confusing to me as far as scoring goes and how it keeps track of high scores)
Hit the start the game button, and then the launch button is actually on the right side of the machine right below the right flipper button.

Can me and BJ Blackcats come in around 0400 some morning to practice? Our band has a JD EP.

Okay I'll start off by listing my high score so far of
178,558,580
this puts me at 143 out of 179 on pinside!!
as Jeff explained to me on our LIVE VIDEO we tried to do, to get MULTIBALL GOING you must first activate the space saturn spinner by hitting down all of the drop targets and getting the ball in the hole behind it or something like that. once saturn is spinning, you can then lock your balls by hitting it up the SPACE RAMP - once you get the third ball up there, then it's MULTI-BALL.
To get the JACKPOT once you have MULTI-BALL going, you must first hit one ball into the hole, and then another ball back up the SPACE RAMP! (Kinda like fishtale's jackpot but maybe a tad easier to hit?)
I haven't looked at high scores on the machine yet and still am not sure how it handles super game scores. I entered in my initials for a 400 million-something "super game" but I think I'm sticking to normal games from here on out.

Now that this game is BACK in our arcade and all of the excitement is around FOO FIGHTERS, I'm trying to DIVE IN to understanding all of the rules and gameplay of Judge Dredd pinball... I want to know everything there is to know about this game like I do HOLLYWOOD HEAT and MOUSIN' AROUND...
I was going to post a picture of the rule card and really dissect the rules from there, but the rule card doesn't give us much to go on IMO. I already knew about completing the "Judge" drop targets to start the spinny do-hicky and then locking the balls on that ramp to start multi-ball.

So I did some digging around youtube and found this very nice thorough video of a man going through all of the game play. It's about a half hour long and I've watched the 1st half where he goes over all of the modes and what they do. This is very helpful guy, thank you.
There are 9 modes on this game, you must complete them all to get to the "Ultimate Challenge." I guess getting to this is crucial because once you are in that mode, you get a multi-ball and all of the crime scene shots are worth 10 million.

I don't know if I've seen this video. Did he go over the mode where you are peeping tom? The mode where you murder a guy just for performing at an open mic?
this pin is pretty much the opposite of Shrek, you could spend a year in jail for a fart.
