Scooby Doo Pinball (Spooky, 2022)

Hi forum just making a thread for Spooky Pinball's newest: SCOBBY DOO PINBALL which I had the chance to play this weekend by complete surprise:



I do think this is a great theme for a pinball and a great theme for spooky, and surprised that none of us predicted this on the forum before it was announced. The mystery machine green throughout, all of the toys, the artwork, really nice.

I got to play this at the: Indiana Beach arcade. I really liked it, loved seeing the animations on the screen, choosing the characters, and especially everything that was going on with the upper playfield (there's kind of an inverted flipper type deal going on where you have to be holding the button down to catch the ball that takes some getting used to, but a lot of fun).

I had a really good game that lasted a really long time but unfortunately felt like I was getting no where even though I kept hitting the lit shots. I kept locking balls but it never gave me a multi-ball. 😥 Unfortunately I'm almost assuming something was not registering correctly on this particular game. I will have to give it another chance somewhere else sometime.

Wow I had the opportunity to play this game once again at WIZARD'S PINBALL HOLE in KALAMAZOO, MICHIGAN this past weekend.

It really was a great arcade, they had a great selection of games, all of them were $0.75 (including new ones), and I feel like they were kept in good shape for the most part. I played Iron Maiden and it immediately started pooping out balls though and then my game ended really soon though. I also played Foo Fighters (premium) and successfully got the ball-save boinker feature to work, it happened so fast but I knew what I was doing and got excited.

Anyways, I was excited to play Scooby Doo again and was determined to at least get to a multi-ball on this game. But no. I thought I had a couple of good games but they still seemed to go no where - also there's that drop target that pops up in the middle of the flippers that acts as a ball save and it seemed to be malfunctioning on the game I was playing to where it was only peeking up part of the way when it was supposed to be up all of the way. This was frustrating. I maybe played 4 games, and then on the 4th it just pooped out all of the balls as soon as I started. And then when those 3 balls drained it was game over, my 75 cents just wasted. So I guess all of the times I've played this brand new Spooky game it hasn't been working properly.

Perhaps you were to scared to realize that the game was not malfunctioning but was actually making "phantom" multiballs
